To celebrate its return to the NEC on 8 to 10 October, Grand Designs Live Birmingham is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a one night break at the luxury 5 Star Staying Cool Apartments at Rotunda and  two pairs of tickets to the show.

This year’s Birmingham show will be spread over six different sections including: Grand Village and Grand Interiors. The show also features a spectacular selection of the latest must have domestic technology and the popular House of the Future, where visitors can expect to see up and coming products live.

Birmingham's Rotunda needs no introduction. The cylindrical icon has defined the city's skyline for the past four decades. This penthouse apartment is at the very top on the 20th floor and has magnificent views of the city from the large open balcony, lounge and bedrooms. The apartment has two bedrooms and each comes with an en suite bathroom. Beds are king size and mattresses are pocket sprung with memory foam; they are called the Ultimate and you’ll know why in the morning!

Design-wise, the penthouse combines contemporary cool with swinging sixties style. The lounge features a bespoke stylish sofa by fab Brit furniture team, NaughtOne, as well as Pierre Paulin's distinctive 1960's Oyster chairs.
