I have long been a fan of the versatility of mirrored glass furniture; elegant, retro without being too heavily traditional in appearance, light reflective and thus able to maximise a sense of space -  and if you know where to look – very reasonably priced too. www.qualityfurniture4u.com remains some of the best value I have seen (dressing tables starting at £144). 

But look out too for London based www.2kmirror.co.uk,  who make for all the top designers and are fab value.
